How I became
involved with these superior products
Many people
have asked, “how a qualified Marconi engineer
came to be involved with the marketing of ‘dog
food’. Usually my first response is that
O&M recipes are much, much more than
mere ‘dog food’. They are veritable
health stores in bags!
However, to answer the question.
My wife and I emigrated to Canada, bringing
an Old English Sheepdog, and three cats. When
Max, our Old English developed kidney failure,
to save him suffering, we allowed the vet to
euthanitise him. That was the most heart-breaking
decision we have ever made.
I wanted to know why a dog aged eleven, had
to die because of kidney failure.
After over 200 hours of research
into vital organs, metabolism, digestion and
digestive systems, nutrients, protein, amino
acids, I was able to conclude that the majority
of readily available, commercial pet foods,
simply weren't good enough!
Talking with experts in naturopathy
who advocate holistic foods for human consumption,
I was able to eventually uncover a husband and
wife team, Wes and Dorothy Morosco, who hold
identical views and standards to ourselves.
They, having the resources,
committed to starting a company whose aim is
to improve the diet of our cats and dogs, and
take it to the ultimate level known to nutritional
science.
The result being, the formation
of the company, Owen & Mandeville,
dedicated to the nutritional welfare of our
cats and dogs.
Paws2Dine deals only with O&M products,
knowing them to be the best money can buy.
O&M have the food
manufactured in Canada, due to the availability
of both hormone and antibiotic-free chicken
and turkey.
Only the pure, white meat of these birds are
used. (Can you say you eat that well?)
Rather than this recipe being
exorbitantly expensive, using only the highest
grade of chicken and turkey creates the most
efficient food source.
Now add natural ingredients
such as kelp, chelated iron, and pro-biotics,
then we get a recipe which we, and all our fellow
pet-owners feeding this food, know to be nature's
finest food.
Since we lost our Max,
we have rescued three dogs, and two cats from
disaster; also, we have one of our original
cats, Daisy, from our previous country. If she
makes it, she will be twenty years in September
2001, (and she’s still the boss!)
