Plants that are used for medicinal purposes.

Minerals
Minerals are essential to good health because they act as catalysts for a number of vital bio-chemical reactions. They're utilized throughout the day and must be replenished.

Fat soluble vitamins
Absorbed in the intestine just like dietary fat. These vitamins are stored in the fatty tissues.

Water-soluble vitamins are not stored in the body and are passed out of the body everyday.

They rapidly react with other molecules, starting chain reactions in a process called oxidation. Formation of free radicals can lead to numerous diseases.
